Oral tradition tells that in Saiñas mount (Pantón, Lugo) there are dwarves living in little stone houses; and it's a real fact that here there is a stone with 32 little caves...

Mermaid Maruxaina's Home

A legend tells that in Farallóns islands lives a mermaid called Maruxaina, who uses to play the horn. Some people thinks she does it to warn about storms, but other ones think she wants to turn sailors mad and that the ships sinks.
Every year, the second saturday of August, takes place a celebration where people perform a judgement to decide if they burn or pardon the mermaid; she's always pardoned and there is a big party in San Ciprián village.
Besides, there is a sculpture in the village dedicated to her.

Nymph Loureiriña in Forcarei mounts

This picture shows Forcarei mounts, a place with legends about ancient people who lives hidden inside mounts. One of this legends tells the story of Loureiriña, a beautiful blonde nymph who lives in this mounts. She use to go down from the mounts to Lérez river, where she meets sometimes with walkers. One time, a young man met Loureiriña, and she took him to a cave with a lot of objects made of gold, and a golden hen that lay golden eggs, but she tolds him there was another entrance with a beam that will burn anyone who try to take the treasure.

Eume, forest of trasnos

This magical place is in the heart of Eume forest (9.125 hectares), specifically the medieval bridge over Sesín river, near the monastery of Caaveiro. Legends about this forest tell that "trasnos" (goblins from Galicia) are hidden between the ferns and rocks near the rivers that run by this forest. When you are there, you can feel magic through the air and that faeries are gazing at you.
